In Fall 2010 and under my leadership CCA launched the IMPACT Social Entrepreneurship Awards program.  An anchor initiative of the Center, this program enables interdisciplinary teams of CCA students to develop and implement social innovations through their studies in art, architecture, design, and writing by competing for three annual awards of $10,000 each. I worked closely with CCA’s Advancement team to secure the initial $150,000 in startup funding, and worked with the Center for Art and Public Life team, specifically Program Manager Rebecca Wolfe in developing guidelines, and gaining community support for this college-wide program.
